Located in Eastlakes, New South Wales, The Lakes is one of Australia’s pre-eminent private clubs and tournament venues. The Lakes’ newly renovated Clubhouse provides world-class facilities with panoramic outlooks across the championship golf course.
Amplifying the Clubhouse’s views
In 2023, The Lakes completed a multi-million-dollar renovation of its Clubhouse, featuring Screenwood’s Modulo® Group 3 decorative tongue and groove wall panels. The interiors were designed to uphold the Club’s vision of providing a world-class golfing experience in a relaxed and friendly environment. By choosing the NAVURBAN™ Ravenswood finish, Gray Puksand Architects achieved a sophisticated yet intimate ambience while amplifying the Club’s magnificent vistas.
A natural connection to nature
Described as a “sanctuary to Members”, The Lakes golf course harnesses its natural environment. By using our timber Modulo® system in a batten profile across the Clubhouse walls, Gray Puksand ensured a seamless connection to nature.
A Global GreenTag™-certified system, Modulo® is meticulously crafted using Group 3 moisture-resistant fibreboard (MR MDF) from environmentally certified Australian mills. The Clubhouse’s Modulo® system features a natural-looking 3D-embossed woodgrain patterning, prefinished with NAVURBAN™ non-PVC Olefin decorative surface film. The film wraps seamlessly under the tongue and groove lip for a flush fit and premium finish. Our Screenwood team ensured the woodgrain patterning balanced consistency without looking repeated and hand-packed the system to deliver the right aesthetic mix.
